  • 30 oz marshmallows (divided)
  • 18 cups puffed rice cereal (divided)
  • 9 oz unsalted butter (divided)
  • Red & blue food coloring

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9×13 dish and set aside.
  2. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt 3 oz of butter and add 10 oz of marshmallows until smooth. Stir in red food coloring.
  3. Mix in 6 cups of puffed rice cereal until evenly coated; press into the prepared dish.
  4. Repeat steps 2-3 without color for the second layer and press it on top.
  5. For the blue layer, follow steps 2-3 using blue food coloring; press this mixture on top.
  6. Allow to cool at room temperature before cutting into squares.
