Ingredients
- 30 oz marshmallows (divided)
- 18 cups puffed rice cereal (divided)
- 9 oz unsalted butter (divided)
- Red & blue food coloring
Instructions
- Grease a 9×13 dish and set aside.
- In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt 3 oz of butter and add 10 oz of marshmallows until smooth. Stir in red food coloring.
- Mix in 6 cups of puffed rice cereal until evenly coated; press into the prepared dish.
- Repeat steps 2-3 without color for the second layer and press it on top.
- For the blue layer, follow steps 2-3 using blue food coloring; press this mixture on top.
- Allow to cool at room temperature before cutting into squares.
