Balsamic Glazed Salmon is a mouthwatering dish that marries rich, savory flavors with a hint of sweetness and tang. This elegant yet easy-to-make recipe is perfect for any occasion, from a hectic weeknight dinner to an impressive dinner party centerpiece. With tender salmon fillets coated in a luscious balsamic reduction infused with garlic and rosemary, this dish not only tastes divine but is visually stunning as well. Pair it with your favorite sides like roasted vegetables or a fresh salad to create a well-rounded meal that will leave your guests raving.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 (6 oz) salmon fillets, skinless or skin-on
  • ½ cup balsamic vinegar
  • ¼ cup white wine or low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Allow the salmon to rest at room temperature for 10–15 minutes before cooking.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine balsamic vinegar, white wine (or chicken broth), honey, Dijon mustard, rosemary, and garlic. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  3. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until the sauce thickens (about 10–15 minutes). Strain into a heatproof bowl.
  4. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Sear the salmon fillets for about 3–4 minutes without moving them until browned. Flip and cook for another 2–3 minutes until flaky.
  6. Serve warm drizzled with the balsamic glaze.
