  • 1 1/2 lb Springer mountain farms chicken breast
  • 1 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 12 oz gluten free farfalle pasta
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp dry shallots
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp Gluten Free 1:1 Flour
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 12 oz shredded parmesan
  • 1/4 cup pasta water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Boil the gluten-free farfalle pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix paprika, oregano, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with this mixture.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the seasoned chicken for about 5 minutes per side until golden brown. Cook thoroughly on medium-low heat until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  4. Remove chicken from skillet and let rest. In the same skillet, melt butter, then sauté dry shallots, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning until fragrant.
  5. Stir in gluten-free flour followed by chicken broth and heavy cream while whisking until smooth. Add shredded Parmesan until melted; mix in cooked pasta.
  6. Slice the chicken and gently fold into the pasta before serving.
