- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
- ¾ cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup whipping cream (or sour cream/Greek yogurt)
- ½ cup milk (of choice)
- ⅔ cup granulated sugar (for cinnamon filling)
- ¼ cup ground cinnamon
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
- 2–3 tbsp cream or milk (for icing)
- ½ tsp vanilla extract (for icing)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a bundt pan thoroughly.
- In a small bowl, combine ⅔ cup granulated sugar with ¼ cup ground cinnamon for the filling.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together ¾ cup butter, 1½ cups sugar, and eggs until smooth. Mix in vanilla.
- Gradually add flour and baking powder to the mixture. Blend in whipping cream and milk until combined.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared bundt pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over it, then add remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon-sugar mix.
- Bake for about 55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- While cooling, prepare icing by whisking powdered sugar with cream/milk and vanilla until desired consistency is reached.
- Once cooled, drizzle icing over the cake before serving.
