  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup whipping cream (or sour cream/Greek yogurt)
  • ½ cup milk (of choice)
  • ⅔ cup granulated sugar (for cinnamon filling)
  • ¼ cup ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
  • 23 tbsp cream or milk (for icing)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract (for icing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a bundt pan thoroughly.
  2. In a small bowl, combine ⅔ cup granulated sugar with ¼ cup ground cinnamon for the filling.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together ¾ cup butter, 1½ cups sugar, and eggs until smooth. Mix in vanilla.
  4. Gradually add flour and baking powder to the mixture. Blend in whipping cream and milk until combined.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the prepared bundt pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over it, then add remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon-sugar mix.
  6. Bake for about 55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. While cooling, prepare icing by whisking powdered sugar with cream/milk and vanilla until desired consistency is reached.
  8. Once cooled, drizzle icing over the cake before serving.
