  • 2 pounds ground beef (85/15)
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 large yellow onion (finely diced)
  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 3 large eggs (beaten)
  • 2/3 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/3 cup honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. Sauté onion and garlic in a skillet until softened; let cool.
  3. In a bowl, mix eggs, milk, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and thyme. Let sit for 5 minutes.
  4. Add ground meats and cooled onion-garlic mixture; mix gently until combined.
  5. Transfer to the loaf pan; press down lightly to eliminate air pockets.
  6. Whisk together glaze ingredients; spread one-third over the meatloaf.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes; add another third of the glaze and bake for an additional 25-30 minutes until cooked through.
  8. Allow to rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
