  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 pound sliced salami
  • 1/2 pound sliced pepperoni
  • 1/2 pound sliced ham or prosciutto

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
  2. Gradually add warm water and olive oil; knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  3. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  4. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle (10×14 inches).
  6. Layer with mozzarella, Parmesan, salami, pepperoni, ham, and chopped herbs (optional).
  7. Roll tightly from one long edge; place seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with extra Parmesan and Italian seasoning.
