  • 1 ½ tbsp butter
  • 1 green bell pepper (chopped)
  • ½ cup onion (chopped)
  • 1 lb boneless rib-eye steak (sliced or chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • 12 egg roll wrappers
  • Oil for frying
  • Optional: Ranch for dipping

Instructions

  1. In a large frying pan, melt half the butter over medium heat. Sauté the bell pepper and onion for 3-4 minutes until softened.
  2. Remove veggies from the pan, add remaining butter, and cook the rib-eye steak seasoned with salt and pepper until browned (3-4 minutes).
  3. Combine sautéed vegetables with the cooked steak.
  4. Place half a slice of cheese in the center of each egg roll wrapper; top with 2-3 tablespoons of filling. Fold and seal.
  5. In a deep frying pan, heat oil over medium heat. Fry egg rolls in batches until golden brown (3-5 minutes). Drain on paper towels.
