Ingredients
- Lean ground beef
- Reduced sodium beef broth
- Green pepper
- Onion
- Garlic
- Cheddar cheese
- Provolone cheese
- Hamburger buns
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Split hamburger buns in half and spread mayo or butter on them; bake for 5 minutes.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and cook ground beef with diced onion and green pepper until browned. Add garlic and sauté for 2 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix beef broth, cornstarch, and seasonings; add to skillet along with ketchup and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in cheddar cheese until melted.
- Fill each bun with the meat mixture, top with provolone cheese, and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
