Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

Cook the Chicken:

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.
  • Cook the chicken for 5–6 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Sauce:

  • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, then stir in the Parmesan cheese.
  • Add Italian seasoning and stir until the sauce begins to thicken slightly, about 2–3 minutes.

Simmer & Serve:

  • Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top.
  • Simmer for an additional 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the chicken to heat through.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
  • Notes
  • Best served with pasta, garlic bread, or roasted potatoes.
  • Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • For extra flavor, sprinkle in red pepper flakes for a mild kick.
